  Established in 2011, Hardywood Park Craft Brewery was only the second independent local brewery in Richmond when it first opened. Hardywood is largely credited with kicking off a craft beer renaissance in Richmond, and their massive brewpub and production facility in Scott's Addition remains one of the city's most popular breweries. • The Veil Brewing Co. - 1509B Belleville St, Richmond, VA 23230
  Known for bold, creative beers, The Veil Brewing Co. now has three locations in Virginia. Their flagship brewery in the Scott's Addition beverage district was newly remodeled and reopened in 2023 and features a Japanese-inspired kitchen that turns out tasty small plates to accompany the brewery's hop-forward ales and fruited sours. The Veil Brewing Co. typically has 30-plus beers on tap at any given time, along with cans to go. 
  
  
• Trapezium Brewing Co. - 423 3rd St, Petersburg, VA 23803
  Located just outside of Richmond in Old Towne Petersburg, Trapezium Brewing Co. has carved out a niche as a local favorite since opening its doors in 2016. Trapezium's taproom and pet-friendly patio are perfect places to enjoy a tasty brew on a crisp fall day, with flagship beers like Houseboat Blonde Ale and Lucky 46 New England  IPA always on tap. • Legend Brewing Company - 321 W 7th St, Richmond, VA 23224
  We would be remiss not to mention Legend Brewing Company, Richmond's oldest brewery. From the day they opened their doors in 1993 until they were joined by Hardywood Brewing in 2011, they were also the only game in town. Legend Brewing is still one of the best breweries in Richmond, proudly brewing traditional ales and lagers and serving them in a down-to-earth brewpub in the historic Old Manchester District. Now is a great time to celebrate the season with the release of their annual Oktoberfest beer.
  
  
• Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - 11792 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23233
  Dozens of excellent wineries are scattered across Central Virginia, with several right here in Richmond. Cooper's Hawk Winery is among the most respected, and its tasting room and restaurant are a great showcase for their award-winning Meritage, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and many other varieties. Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant offers wine tastings every day of the week, and their kitchen turns out tasty globally-inspired cuisine to complement each wine.
  
  
• Blue Bee Cider - 4811 Bethlehem Rd STE A, Richmond, VA 23230
  Craft cider fans also have some great options in Richmond, including Blue Bee Cider, which is the city's oldest urban cidery. Blue Bee offers a wide range of unique and meticulously crafted hard ciders that highlight various heirloom apples grown right here in Virginia.
